Review by Thomas Riccardi

It takes a lot to give a product an A+ and this is just a fantastic product. I could go on how the layout is clean and professional (and this is Padwolf's first attempt at a RPG) or say how the interior art is beautiful and well done, but I want to tell you a little about the game

The setting for World tree is a giant tree (you heard that right), one that is home to various races. The races and wildlife that call teh world tree home are unique as well, including the Cani (Dogs), Gormoror (bears), Herethroy (insects), Khtsoyis (air octopi), Orren (otters), Rassimel (raccoons), Sleeth (cats), and Zi Ri (dragons). Each race also goes into a bit of detail about what they are like, their social order, diet, etc.

Rules are easy to learn and do little to obstruct the story telling elements of the game. There is a complete combat and magic system, everything you need to play the game is in this book. It even goes into very specific details about the world so you do not need to buy any supplements or anything else ever .

The world is also elaborate. From gods to local fauna, it's all in the rulebook. The authors wanted to make a game where you did not need to buy any more supplements or adventures whatsoever, and I think they were successful with this game.

My meager review cannot express how good this game is, my only advice to th egamer who's looking for something different is to point his browser at www.world-tree-rpg.com and make your own decision. Once you start reading this book, you might find yourself lost in the world of World Tree.

A+
